This is a great shampoo to give your hair a boost of volume and bring out your color. If you have colored hair that is flat, dull, and dry, I would highly recommend PureOlogy PureVolume Shampoo. It’s formulated to preserve your hair color while adding soft volume. Unlike many volume shampoos which can leave your hair dried out, this shampoo hydrates and adds shine. It really is a great combination for tired looking colored hair. And with added botanicals of organic Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Sandalwood, it leaves your hair smelling herby fresh.

This face scrub combines algae, almond oil and corn meal for a natural face exfoliant. Apply it gently in the shower and leave on for a few minutes to let the ingredients work. Make sure you don’t rub into the skin as the bigger particles can scratch the surface of the skin even though it claims to be non-abrasive. My skin felt tingly afterwards, but I wouldn’t recommend this scrub for sensitive skin.

Blue Q brings us an excellent pick in their Dirty Girl line. Dirty Girl Moisturizer, Peaches and Cream scented lotion, has moisture retaining ingredients like rice-bran oil which penetrates into the skin for maximum absorbency.
I just love the smell of Dirty Girl Moisture Treatment. It is just lightly scented and feels so refreshing on the skin. This light creamy whipped lotion leaves the skin smelling like a peach and as soft as one too!

I love the Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in “Brown Copper.” It is a dark brown color with a hint of coppery sparkle. It goes on a little thick if you don’t sharpen for each use, but it is a great pencil to create a dramatic effect. Just blend it with a nice dark shadow close to the eye lid to create smokey eyes. For daytime use, I apply it with a light cream colored shadow. You can smudge it to soften the look without loosing too much color or use it a long the lash line to darken your eye lashes.

It’s the buzz around the skin care market. Hyaluronic acid is used in various skin care products to treat wrinkles and is said to be the new miracle anti aging formula. Hyaluronic acid is a lubricating substance that occurs naturally in the connective tissue. It keeps the skin supple and firm, yet over time our body will produce less of it. Creams and serums claim to restore the moisture retaining abilities through the topical use of hyaluronic acid on the skin. Here a few products that use hyaluronic acid…
